Orion is designed to work in tandem with our BaseLUTs—whether you are shooting in Canon Log 2, Sony S-Log 3, Panasonic V-Log, and more, Orion will build off of any Gamut Conversion LUT to provide powerful color in as little as one click. With properly balanced and exposed footage, Orion will allow you to create your own unique color that helps you stand out.

What's Unique About Orion

The Orion LUT Collection includes nine LUTs in total. It offers a vintage-inspired core look that emulates classic film stocks, with warm and cool tones for a balanced and nostalgic palette.

Additionally, there are Orion Cool and Orion Warm variations that emphasize cooler and warmer tones. Each LUT also comes with two variants: Contrast (higher contrast), and Crushed (muted highlights and deeper shadows)

Orion

Orion, as the core look in the collection, takes inspiration from classic film stocks. It brings balanced colors, clean shadows, and gentle highlights to enhance the natural color of your footage.

Orion (Warm)

Orion (Warm) stands as the warmest iteration within the Orion series. This collection of LUTs, including crushed and contrasted versions, replicates the distinctive appearance of Kodak film pushed an extra stop. While upholding natural skin tones, these warmer presets infuse your content with a vibrant warmth, serving as a versatile foundation for building your vision upon.

Orion (Cool)

Orion (Cold) offers a cooler rendition of the Orion series. These LUTs, featuring both crushed and contrasted versions, embrace a cinematic aesthetic inspired by the cool hues of the blue-hour light. They are well-suited for tempering excessively warm scenes or adding a touch of subtlety to your production.

PowerGrades

With Orion, we've added the ability to download not only LUTs but also PowerGrades for DaVinci Resolve.

When you download LUT files, the PowerGrade files will be included as well.

PowerGrade in DaVinci Resolve is a customizable and reusable color correction and grading preset that allows you to apply a specific look or adjustment to your video footage. It simplifies the grading process by enabling you to save and apply complex color and correction settings across multiple clips or projects with ease.
